We are excited to announce the launch of our new non-profit organization, dedicated to providing need-based scholarships for dancers between the ages of 3 and 18 in the Santa Barbara community. Our mission is to ensure that every aspiring dancer has the opportunity to pursue their passion and receive quality training, regardless of their financial circumstances.

 

At Be Momentum we firmly believe in the transformative power of dance. We understand that the cost of tuition and associated expenses can often be a barrier for many young dancers and their families. Therefore, our primary goal is to remove this financial barrier and make dance education accessible to all.

 

Our scholarship program is designed to support dancers of all levels and backgrounds. Whether they are beginners taking their first steps or advanced students aiming to pursue a professional career in dance, we are dedicated to providing the necessary financial assistance to help them thrive.

 

To apply for a scholarship, families can submit an application form along with proof of financial need. Our selection committee, composed of experienced dance professionals and community members, will review each application thoroughly and make decisions based on financial need of dancers.

 

Once selected, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of dance studios and programs in Santa Barbara that are partnered with our organization. 

 

In addition to financial assistance, Be Momentum, also aims to foster a supportive community for dancers and their families. We will organize regular events, workshops, and performances to bring scholarship recipients together, allowing them to connect, learn from each other, and showcase their talent.

 

We are grateful for the support we have received from the Santa Barbara community thus far. We welcome donations and sponsorships from individuals and organizations who share our vision of making dance education accessible to all. Together, we can empower young dancers and provide them with the opportunities they deserve.
